Underwater World Pattaya was opened in July 2003 and features a 100-meter long underwater tunnel. The aquarium has a total of 3.8 million liters and is a great family friendly attraction.
It has a diverse display of roughly 5,000 fish, representing some 500 species from Thailand and around the world.
Underwater World pride themselves in playing an important role in education and marine conservation. They encourage school visits and they are constantly developing new educational programs.
One of the things that the younger ones enjoy is feeding kois using a baby’s bottle. A koi is a slightly more ornamental variety of the common carp
This is a family friendly attraction and is definitely a place to take the younger family if you come to Pattaya.

The jelly fish display at Underwater World in Pattaya is one of the biggest I have seen. Very impressive.

In addition to the fish, there is also a nice cafe to relax for a coffee and the always present souvenir shop.
How To Get To Underwater World Pattaya
The easiest way to get to Underwater World Pattaya is to open the map below on your mobile device. However if you would prefer their address it is 22/22 Moo 11,Sukhumvit Rd. Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi 20260.
They are open from 9 a.m. To 6 p.m. Daily and their published entry fee is 500 baht for adults and 300 baht for children. However they do have a dual pricing policy of charging less for a Thai national than they do for a tourist. That is not uncommon in Thailand, and many tourists do not have a problem with that as they would not like to exist on a Thai wage. This is simply to alert you should you have a problem.
